21stFinds offers antique jewels with a story. Each item has been selected for its beauty, wearability, and historical significance. Retelling the story of each individual piece is the driving force behind this shop.

Based in The Netherlands, most items are sourced within Europe, with a focus on jewellery from the 17th to the 20th Century. Antique jewellery can still be found in abundance, but a lot of designs have not stood the test of time. 21stFinds offers pieces that can be worn immediately and will add a touch of history to your personal style.

21stFinds was founded in 2017 and since its start, hundreds of antique pieces have found new homes all over the world. Founder Anne studied Art History and fell in love with the jewellery field during an internship at an international auction house. The combination of the social history of each piece, the craftsmanship involved in the making of an item, and the fascinating world of gemstones proved to be an irresistible combination.

Next to the knowledge her studies and working field gave her, she learned about the making process of a piece of jewellery during a goldsmithing course at the Dutch smithing institute known as ‘Schoonhoven’. At the Gemmological Association of Great Britain she learned to determine and appraise coloured gemstones and diamonds, which earned her the title Fellow of Gemmological Association of GB (FGA).  

Currently, Anne does not only run 21stFinds but also works as a certified appraiser of jewellery for auction houses and private collectors.
