These 18k yellow gold hoop earrings can be worn in two ways. The central hoops, set with lapis lazuli, can be worn on their own, or can be combined with a separate setting, which creates an extra gold band on each side.
Lapis lazuli has been treasured since ancient times, particularly in Mesopotamia, Egypt, and Persia. Its name translates to 'blue stone' with lapis derived from the Latin word for stone and "lazuli" from the Persian word lazhuward, meaning blue.
