This tiny brooch brooch was originally worn high up the neck on a button-up shirt. There is a small hook which I have photographed at the top, since it could be used to wear it as a pendant. Originally though, this would have been used to fit a long, gold chain, which on the other end would have held a lady's pocket watch.
The brooch is set with an oval cabochon-cut diamond, encircled by ten old mine-cut diamonds. All diamonds combined have an estimated weight of 0.50 carats.
