eThis sterling silver oval jewellery box, standing on four feet, is decorated with a hammered garland pattern on the lid. The inside is lined with a purple velvet interior. It has three slots for rings and a little lowered compartment for other jewels. The interior can be gently removed from the silver frame, making the frame easier to clean.
Dimensions: 7.5 x 11 x 4.5 cm.
Hallmarks:
The lid is hallmarked for 925/1000 silver, Birmingham, 1909, and the maker F. H. Adams Ltd.
Weight: 143 grams.
Condition: In antique condition with signs of use and wear, consistent with its age. The silver has some knicks, and the interior is quite dilapidated. I personally like this antique look, but you decide to have the interior re-upholstered if you wish. Please take a look at the pictures closely for a good overview of its condition.
Please note that the jewellery is for display purposes only.
