This small and sweet Art Deco horseshoe pendant is made from 18k white gold and set with three synthetic rubies and 14 brilliant-cut diamonds.
The horseshoe is an ancient symbol for good luck, going as far back as Roman times. The origin of the horseshoe as a symbol of luck is linked to several myths and legends: the hoofed devil was said to have donned horseshoes and was told never to enter a home with a horseshoe above its door. Witches were believed to fear horses, so hanging a horseshoe warded them off.
This pendant is currently sold without a necklace: feel free to reach out if you would like to include a necklace with your purchase.
