This charming brooch is shaped like an oval with pointed sides, and is set with a convex blue royal enamel panel, centered with a silver applique, encrusted with rose-cut diamonds. The design is completed by a border of rose-cut diamonds.
The brooch is fitted with a c-clasp and has a little flower engraving at the back.
GENERAL INFORMATION
Size: 46 x 16 x 6 mm.
Weight: 8.30 grams
Age: Early 20th Century, circa 1900.
Material: Acid tested as 9k gold and silver. It also carries a Dutch taxation hallmark, used before 1952, and a makersmark 'CP*', which I was not able to identify.
Condition: In great antique condition with only minor wear, consistent with its age.
