This ring displays one of the most characteristic features of the Art Deco era, which is creating a bold colour contrast by combining onyx with a bright, sparkling diamond. Its shape resembles a target, which was a popular design in the 1920s.
It is made from 14k yellow gold and set with a round-shaped onyx. The center of the onyx has been carved open and was set with an old mine-cut diamond with an estimated weight of 0.23 carats in a silver setting.
