This platinum eternity ring is meant for someone who loves wonky old-cut diamonds!
In most eternity rings, the gemstones are perfectly matched and cut similarly, but in this case I suspect that its maker used a parcel of repurposed antique diamonds for his project.
While the ring itself was made in the 1930s, each diamond has a very different cut and shape, and mostly cuts known to be used in the 18th and 19th centuries.
Therefore, it is likely that each of these diamonds was originally part of a different jewel and ended up in this charming ring.
It looks lovely worn solo, but is also very suitable to wear combined with other rings.
