These simple and chic stud earrings are each set with an Old European-cut diamond, set in a closed, 18k gold bezel setting.
Each diamond has an estimated weight of 0.30 carats, H-I colour, and VS-SI quality. Each diamond was appraised inside its setting.
The Old European-cut diamond is the predecessor of the modern round brilliant-cut diamond. It has a lower crown, deeper pavilion, and a tiny extra facet at the tip of the diamond, known as the 'culet', which can be seen through the table of the diamond.
