These jadeite and diamond earrings were originally made in the 18th Century as a set of buttons. Somewhere in the past, they were converted into more wearable earrings.

Size: 28 mm long from hook to tip: the settings have a diameter of 13 mm.
Weight: combined 4.81 grams
Age: 18th Century, also known as the Georgian era, circa 1780s. They were converted at a later date.
Material: Acid tested as 14k gold, with later 18k gold hooks.
Condition: In good antique condition with minor signs of wear, consistent with their age.
