This delightful 14k yellow gold dress clip is decorated with an open-worked floral design, made up of several scrolls. It is set with two oval-cut pink topaz, and five round-cut peridots.
Dress clips were very popular in the Art Deco period and are often seen as synonymous with that style, but this is a relatively early example, made around 1910. They are extremely versatile and doesn’t only look very pretty clipped on the front of a dress or lapel, but can also be worn as a pendant.
