The front of this marquise-shaped brooch is fitted with a glass panel, with a painted miniature underneath. The painting depicts a small boy carrying a small potted tree, a symbol of fertility. The design is completed by a border of round-cut paste stones.
This brooch could easily be converted into a pendant for a small fee.
