This delicate 18k yellow gold ring is centered by an oval glass panel, which depicts a tiny white dog with a black ear, which sits amongst a green meadow, with a contrasting red background. The tiny miniature is created with minute enamel detailing, in a technique which I have not encountered before.

Material: Hallmarked with a French rooster head hallmark, used for 18k gold in France between 1808 and 1819.
Condition: In good antique condition with only minor signs of wear, consistent with age.
