This watch fob seal originally hung from a gentleman's watch chain. It is made from 9k gold and fitted with a carnelian seal, which has been beautifully engraved with a family crest depicting a crowned lion in a shield, topped by a bird between two raised wings. The seal comes with an extra split ring, perfect to display some extra charms.

Size: 27 long excluding the split ring: the intaglio measures 25 x 22 mm.

Age: 18th Century, also known as the Georgian era, circa 1760s.
Material: Acid tested as 9k gold.
Condition: In great antique condition with some minor wear, consistent with age. One end of the split ring is slightly bend out of shape.
