Material and hallmarks: The crips hallmarks at the back help to date this ring precisely. The shank is hallmarked with a Dutch lion for 18k gold, used between 1814 and 1865. The makers mark 'JR-heart' can also be found, which was used by jeweler Jan de Ruijter, who operated in Amsterdam between 1818 and 1822.
Condition: In great antique condition with only minor wear, consistent with its age.
