The design of this so-called Tiara ring is typical of the period we now know as the Belle Epoque.
The central 'tiara' design fans out and is set with two cushion-cut natural sapphires of approximately 0.15 carats each, and seventeen rose-cut diamonds of various sizes. All gemstones have been placed in open platinum settings, allowing light to pass through.
