This ball-shaped mechanical pencil can be worn as a pendant is decorated with blue enameled stripes.
It is still housed in its original box by Kendall & Co, a famous Parisian warehouse which opened in the late 19th Century. Besides jewellery, the store was a supplier of high-class leather goods, automobile and travelling bags. It appears to have been out of business by the end of 1908.
