This platinum and white gold ring has a domed front, which is centered by a cushion-cut, dark blue natural sapphire with an estimated weight of 1.52 carats. The settings are decorated with two old mine-cut diamonds and 24 small rose-cut diamonds. All gemstones are placed in open settings, allowing light to pass through the stones.
The top of the setting is decorated with millegrain, a technique in which a small engraving tool is used to create the illusion of tiny grains of sand lining the gemstone. The sides of the ring and parts of the setting are open-worked, which gives an airy feel to the design.

Condition: In great antique condition with barely any wear. This can be attributed to platinum being a hard material, which isn't as prone to showing wear as gold often is.
