This brooch is centered by a round-cut amethyst with a diameter of 15 mm, which is cornered by four silver elements, each set with a rose-cut diamond. At the bottom dangles a tear-cut amethyst, which is set in a silver setting, studded with eight small rose-cut diamonds.
There is a large gold rim running right behind the central amethyst, which can be used as a bale, making the jewel wearable as a pendant too.

Condition: In good antique condition with only minor wear, consistent with its age. There are some small scratches on the table of the top amethyst, which are worth mentioning but not very noticeable when worn.
