This 18k gold ring is shaped like a tiny branch, studded with seven rose-cut diamonds in closed, silver settings. Traditionally, diamonds were set in silver to enhance their brilliance, while the gold back and shank added sturdiness and prevented the silver from tarnishing and potentially staining your skin or clothing.
