This lovely 18k gold hollow pendant features a honeycomb pattern. It is decorated with a rose-cut diamond-encrusted bird and a round-cut natural ruby.
GENERAL INFORMATION
Size: 19 mm in diameter, excluding the bale and jump ring.
Weight: 3.45 grams.
Age: 19th Century, circa 1890s.
Material: Acid-tested as 18k gold.
Condition: In good antique condition with some minor wear, consistent with its age. There is a tiny pierced hole at the bottom of the pendant: this can be seen in the second-to-last picture and is not visible when worn. The setting which currently holds the emerald was empty, so I had it set with an emerald to accentuate the diamonds.
