This antique silver and gold jabot pin is meant to be worn with the pin hidden behind the fabric of your clothing, only revealing the two outer parts.
It can be worn in two ways as I am showing in the pictures; it can be worn to emulate an arrow, and the point of the arrow can also be worn inwards, which gives the pin a more ornamental look, with the two 'V' shapes mirroring each other.
