
This locket is made from 14k yellow gold and is engraved on both sides. When closed, the locket resembled a lozenge shape, but it is most beautiful when it is opened, revealing four panels, each containing an oval picture frame.

Hallmarks: The locket carries a hallmark that cannot be read anymore, and has been acid tested as 14k gold.
Condition: In antique condition with signs of wear, consistent with its age. There are some dents and a few sides have been pierced, creating two small holes. Two of the picture frames have their original glass: it is missing in one frame, and one frame is completely missing.
This locket opens to both sides: I would advise to take your time the first time you open it, closely checking where the hinges are placed, to prevent damaging the locket.
