This 14k yellow gold ring is centered by a rose-cut diamond with a diameter of 5.3 mm, which is encircled by two haloes of smaller, irregularly hand-cut rose-cut diamonds.
Its neo-Georgian design is reminiscent of 18th-century designs, a jewellery trend that was very popular in the Netherlands in the first half of the 20th Century. All rose-cut diamonds have been set in closed, silver settings, which was traditionally done to enhance their colour and brilliance.
