This delicate 14k yellow gold puffy heart can be worn both as a brooch and as a pendant, with a smart retractable bale. Its front is studded with an array of small natural seed pearls.
It was made by Carter, Gough & Co. This famed American jewellery firm was known for being the first to use a steam engine in jewellery manufacturing in the 1850s and produced high-quality pieces in a wide range of styles. It stopped operating in 1922.
