This unusual silver ring is centered by a sugar-loaf-cut, deep dark-red garnet. The front of the setting is further decorated with twenty-two old-cut diamonds of various shapes and sizes.
Although the shape is reminiscent of the Art Deco style of the 1920s, the 'bombe' shape tells us is was made a little later, in the 1960s.
