This faceted oval crystal perfume flask is decorated with a sulphite depiction of Christ on the cross and is fitted with a gilded cap. Its original glass stopper is still present.
Tiny bottles like these were often filled with smelling salts or perfume and can often be found in travel nécessaires, which contained several items that were practical for everyday use.
