This iron and brass swivel fob holds an intaglio seal on each side, which could be used to close off a personal letter. One seal depicts several Masonic symbols, while the other side shows the portrait of a lady. Similar seals on the market display male heroes (I've found examples depicting Julius Caesar, William Shakespeare, and George II) so this female must have been a famous person, but unfortunately, I have yet to discover her identity.
