It was designed by Gianmaria Buccellati and is part of the 'Foliargento' line, a series of silver homeware objects that were inspired by nature.
Buccellati is one of the most famous jewellery dynasties of Italy. It was founded in 1919 by Mario Buccellati and is renowned for its Renaissance-inspired, hand-engraved, and lace-like gold designs. Known as the "Prince of Goldsmiths," Mario established a legacy of meticulous craftsmanship, later expanding internationally to New York and Paris. After his death in 1965, his four sons took over the business, with Gianmaria being responsible for the design element of the company.
