This delicate locket is made from a mother-of-pearl coloured shell, which is held in an 18k yellow gold mounting.

Material: Acid tested as 18k gold.
Condition: In antique condition with some signs of wear. There is a crack on the inside of one of the shells, as can be seen in the picture depicting the inside: this crack is however not visible on the outside.
