This 18k gold cluster ring is centered by a large cushion-cut natural dark-blue sapphire, with an estimated weight of 18 carats. This sapphire is encircled by a border of small rose-cut diamonds, which have been placed in a silver setting to enhance their colour. All gemstones are set in open settings, which, together with the open-worked gallery of the front setting, allows light to travel through the stones. The sides of the shank are decorated with an engraved floral border.

This ring was likely worn combined with another ring on the same finger for many years; therefore, there is a small dent on the inside of the setting, where these would have rubbed together. This is not very noticeable when worn.
