These quirky filigree silver spiderweb holders were produced in China for the foreign market in the early 20th Century. They are very collectible, and it is quite rare to find a set of five!
They were originally intended for place cards, but you can use them to display a variety of small paper items: I have used my business cards in these pictures, but you could also use them for pictures, menu cards, price labels, et cetera.
