These charming rose-cut diamond encrusted earrings will sway lightly with every move you make. Each earring consists of a flower-shaped top, which is connected to a marquise-shaped central part. The bottom part is centered by a pear-shaped rose-cut diamond, measuring 6.5x4.5 mm, encircled by a halo of rose-cut diamonds.
The design of these earrings is inspired by the elaborate diamond-encrusted jewels of the 18th Century, but they were made in the early 20th Century by renowned Dutch jeweler J. Roozendaal. This jewellery company was famous for creating rose-cut diamond jewellery in an era when these were still very fashionable, but not many jewelers were able to use the techniques needed to set rose-cut diamonds.
