These 14k gold earrings have platinum fronts, as is typical for Art Deco jewellery of the 1920s. They have a target-shaped top with a drop consisting of three diamond-encrusted parts, which can move individually from each other. Each drop terminates in a pear-shape, which is centered by a diamond of approximately 0.15 carats.
These earrings were originally fitted with posts, but were converted into screw fittings. They could easily be converted back into post fittings if desired, but I decided to keep the screw fittings for now, because I know how many ladies without piercings are always on the hunt for antique drop earrings!
