This yellow stickpin was originally worn in a man's cravat, the predecessor of the necktie. It is decorated with a platinum and gold rooster, whose body is set with rose-cut diamonds, and its head is decorated with red and green enamel.

Material: The rooster is acid tested as being 18k gold and platinum: the pin is marked '800' and is made from gilded 800/1000 silver.
