This small perfume flask is carved from a single piece of pinkish carnelian and has a silver cap, which was originally gilded. Its original glass stopper is still present.

Age: 19th Century, circa 1860s.
Material: The cap is hallmarked with a French hallmark for 800/1000 silver, used between 1838 and 1962.
Condition: In good antique condition with only minor wear, consistent with age. The cap closes well but not fully down: this can be seen in the pictures.
