These 19.2k yellow gold hoop earrings are decorated with elaborate filigree detailing. The crescent crescent moon-shaped form in the middle can move independently from the rest of the design.
This model of earrings is known as 'Arrecadas' have been a popular design in traditional Portuguese jewellery since the 18th Century.

These earrings will be most comfortable if you have slightly larger piercings, since the hooks are 1.2 mm thick (instead of the usual 0.7 to 1 mm).
Weight: combined 4.65 grams.
Age: Vintage, circa 1940s.
Material: The earrings are hallmarked with Portuguese hallmarks for 800/1000 (19.2k) gold, used in Porto between 1938 and 1984. It also has a maker's mark, which I could not identify.
Condition: In vintage condition with minor signs of wear, consistent with age. The crescent moon shapes have small solder marks, hinting at a repair in the past.
