This 14k yellow gold stickpin was originally worn in a man's cravat, the predecessor of the necktie.
It is shaped like a sabre and decorated with two eagles, one on the quillion and the other on the grip, all decorated with black enamel. The grip is further decorated with two small single-cut diamonds, and a tiny natural seed pearl dangles from a little chain at its side.
