
This antique silver bangle bracelet is designed to emulate a belt and buckle, a very popular design in the late 19th Century. It opens with a box clasp, which still opens and closes securely.

Inner dimensions: 51 x 57 mm, circumference 17 cm / 6.75 inches, making it suitable for a small to medium-sized wrist.

Age: Hallmarked N for 1887.
Material and hallmarks: the bracelet is hallmarked for sterling silver (925/1000), Birmingham, and 1887. It also carries the maker's mark of James Fenton, who operated under this hallmark between 1854 and 1904.
Condition: In good antique condition with only minor wear, consistent with its age. There are some small dents caused by use, which can be seen in the pictures.
