This yellow gold necklace is fitted with a dog clasp, and was originally worn as a watch chain. It is set with nineteen different gemstones in spectacle settings:
- A faceted round yellow-orange andalusite, approximately 0.75 carat, with some wear to the facet edges.
- A faceted oval pinkish-orange zircon, approximately 1.21 carats, with wear around the facet edges.
- An oval cabochon-cut greyish-blue star sapphire, circa 2 carats, with no damages.
- A faceted oval-cut red garnet. circa 1.95 carats, with no damage.
- An oval-cut yellow spinel, circa 0.95 carat, with a chip at the pavilion but no other damage.
- An oval cabochon-cut green gemstone. This gem has a rounded surface on both sides, making it difficult to determine its variety, but its colour leads me to suspect it is a tourmaline, in that case approximately 1.60 carats, with no damage.
- A faceted oval green zircon, approximately 2.80 carats, with no damage.
- A faceted round yellow zircon, approximately 0.50 carat, with no damage.
- A faceted oval amethyst, approximately 0.70 carat, with no damage.
- A faceted oval purple spinel, approximately 0.65 carat, with no damage.
- A faceted oval red garnet, approximately 0.75 carat, with no damage.
- A faceted round colourless topaz, approximately one carat, with no damage.
- A faceted oval green sphene, approximately 0.80 carat, with no damage.
- A faceted oval blue spinel, approximately one carat, with no damage.
